This Modpack includes everything you need as a pre-built Pixelmon experience:

  • The Pixelmon Mod - The amazing mod for Minecraft that adds Pokemon exploration, capture, battling, and more!

  • The Pixelmon OST, by Chris Geddes - A professionally made, bespoke soundtrack that adds to the immersion for this mod.

  • Journeymap - With sprite integration on the map. Some servers may have this functionality disabled.

  • Oh The Biomes You'll Go - An exploration and adventure mod designed to take you on a road trip across Minecraft like no other! Explore over 80 magical, realistic, and breathtaking biomes, adding new biomes into your world gen, complete with Pixelmon integration.

  • Nature's Compass - Allows you to locate biomes in your world, a must with extra biomes.

  • Explorer's Compass - Allows you to locate structures in your world, very much needed with new structures coming for Pixelmon.

We recommend installing Optifine 1.16.5 with this pack, to add further optimization. (You will have to do this manually)

Changes

  • Raid spawns have been added for Iron Crown and Iron Boulder.
  • Level 25-45 Arena NPCs will sometimes spawn as double battle NPCs.
  • Multiple level ups from a single EXP gain are now summarized on one stat screen instead of spamming several in a row.
  • Battle messages on level up now only show the final level reached, instead of listing every single level along the way.
  • Removed the limitation of only being able to throw out one Pokemon at a time.
  • Allows you to press R again to cancel throwing a PokeBall mid-flight.
  • The /spectate command has been renamed to /pokebattle spectate to avoid conflicts with Minecraft’s spectator command.
  • Pokemon will now watch your every move when holding a rare candy.
  • The /pokebattle command has been fully rewritten and now supports proper sub-commands.
  • /pokebattle now works again with NPC trainers.
  • Rotation, Double, and Triple battles are now supported through /pokebattle battle.
  • Removed the ability for /pokebattle to spawn a wild Pokémon directly by species name.
  • Battle logs will now include more information about the Pokemon involved in the battle.

Fixes

  • The Old Fisherman will again spawn as intended.
  • Fixed a typo in Iron Boulder research.
  • The Reassembly unit sprite will now animate as intended.
  • Compatibility with the Essential mod has been improved.
  • A fix has been introduced to improve compatibility with older AMD drivers.
